Full-factorial design

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004700

An experimental design that investigates all possible combinations of the levels for all chosen factors. This approach allows for the estimation of the main effect of each factor as well as all interaction effects between the factors. For an experiment with k factors, each examined at L levels, a full-factorial design requires L to the power of k (L^k) experimental runs.
