Polymer-supported reaction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009202
A chemical reaction where one or more reactants or catalysts are covalently attached to an insoluble polymer support. This technique simplifies product isolation and purification by allowing the polymer-bound species to be easily separated by filtration. It is a cornerstone of solid-phase synthesis, particularly in peptide and oligonucleotide synthesis.
