Polysilsesquioxane

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009239

A class of inorganic-organic hybrid polymers characterized by a ladder-like or cage-like structure with repeating RSiO1.5 units, where R is an organic group. These polymers combine the properties of organic polymers and inorganic silicates, offering high thermal stability, mechanical strength, and low dielectric constant. They are used in microelectronics, coatings, and composites.
