Inorganic-organic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005890
A polymer composed of both inorganic and organic components, often with a skeletal structure that incorporates elements from both categories. These materials combine the properties of both inorganic and organic compounds, leading to enhanced thermal, mechanical, or optical characteristics. Examples include hybrid materials formed by sol-gel processes.
