Polystannane

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009240

A class of inorganic polymers characterized by a backbone composed entirely of tin atoms, with organic substituents attached to each tin. These polymers are analogous to polysilanes but with heavier main chain atoms, leading to distinct electronic and optical properties. They are investigated for potential applications in optoelectronics and catalysis.
