Stannoxanes

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011314

A class of organotin compounds characterized by the presence of a tin-oxygen-tin (Sn-O-Sn) linkage within their molecular structure. These compounds often feature additional organic substituents attached to the tin atoms. They are analogous to siloxanes and are frequently employed in catalysis and as precursors for tin oxide materials.
