Immunosorbents

Materials that selectively bind specific antibodies or antigens through immunological interactions. These materials are typically solid supports to which antibodies or antigens are covalently or non-covalently attached. They are frequently employed in affinity chromatography for the purification or removal of target biomolecules from complex mixtures.
