Adsorber
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000281
A substance, typically a solid, that collects and holds molecules of a gas or liquid on its surface through the process of adsorption. These materials possess a high surface area and specific pore structures, making them effective for separating components from fluid mixtures. Activated carbon is a common adsorber used in air and water purification.
