Metal-organic framework

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007260

A class of porous, crystalline materials composed of metal ions or clusters coordinated to organic ligands, forming a network structure. These materials possess high surface areas and tunable pore sizes, making them suitable for gas storage, separation, and catalysis. Their structures can be designed at the molecular level.
