Polymer-metal complex
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009196
A macromolecular entity formed by the coordination of metal ions or metal complexes with a polymer chain. The polymer acts as a ligand, binding to the metal centers through specific functional groups. These complexes often exhibit unique catalytic, electronic, or optical properties and are used in catalysis and materials science.
