Coordination polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002559

A compound consisting of metal ions or clusters linked by organic ligands, forming a repeating network structure that extends in one, two, or three dimensions. These materials are characterized by coordination bonds between the metal centers and the bridging ligands. Coordination polymers find applications in gas storage, catalysis, and sensing due to their tunable structures and properties.
