Coordination network

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002556

A coordination compound whose repeating coordination entities extend in two or three dimensions, or in one dimension when cross-links tie chains, loops or spiro-links together. Metal centres act as nodes joined by bridging ligands. Networks form a subset of coordination polymers, and a metal-organic framework is a network that has potential voids.
