Heteroleptic
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005251
Describing a coordination compound or complex that contains two or more different types of ligands bound to the central metal atom. This contrasts with homoleptic complexes, which have only one type of ligand. The presence of multiple ligand types can influence the complex's reactivity and electronic properties.
