Immunosensor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005706
A type of biosensor that detects the presence or concentration of an analyte by employing an immunological reaction. It incorporates a specific antibody or antigen as the recognition element, which binds to the target analyte. The binding event is then converted into a measurable signal, often electrical or optical, for detection.
