Electrochemical sensor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003663
A device that converts a chemical input into an electrical signal through an electrochemical reaction. It typically consists of a recognition element that interacts with the analyte and a transducer that converts this interaction into a measurable electrical property like current, potential, or conductance. These sensors are widely used for detecting specific chemical species in solutions or gases.
