Immunostimulation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005708
The process of enhancing or activating the immune system's components, leading to a stronger or more effective immune response. This can involve increasing the activity of immune cells, promoting antibody production, or boosting cytokine release. Immunostimulation can be induced by vaccines, certain drugs, or natural substances, and is measured by markers such as lymphocyte proliferation or cytokine levels.
