Premix burner
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009392
A type of burner used in atomic absorption and emission spectroscopy where the fuel gas and oxidant are thoroughly mixed before entering the flame. This design provides a stable and homogeneous flame, leading to better analytical precision and sensitivity. The mixture is typically introduced through a nebulizer that creates a fine aerosol of the sample solution.
