Bunsen burner

A common piece of laboratory equipment that produces a single open gas flame, used for heating, sterilization, and combustion. It consists of a metal tube with a heavy base, connected to a gas supply, and features an adjustable collar to control the air intake and thus the flame's intensity and temperature. The flame can reach temperatures exceeding 1500 degrees Celsius.
