Bunsen coefficient

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001543

The volume of gas, reduced to 0 degrees Celsius and 1 atmosphere pressure, that dissolves in a unit volume of a solvent at a specified temperature and partial pressure of the gas. This coefficient quantifies the solubility of a gas in a liquid. It is often expressed in milliliters of gas per milliliter of solvent.
