Burkitt lymphoma

A highly aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma characterized by rapid tumor growth. It is strongly associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection in endemic regions and typically involves a chromosomal translocation of the MYC gene. This lymphoma is one of the fastest-growing human tumors and requires prompt treatment.
