Lymphoma

A type of cancer that originates in the lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell, and typically develops in the lymphatic system. This malignancy involves the uncontrolled proliferation of abnormal lymphocytes, leading to the formation of tumors in lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, and other organs. Lymphomas are broadly classified into Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
