Lymphoid tissue

A specialized connective tissue containing lymphocytes and other immune cells, organized into structures that support immune responses. This tissue forms the basis of the immune system, facilitating the recognition and elimination of pathogens and abnormal cells. It is found in primary organs like the thymus and bone marrow, and secondary organs such as lymph nodes, spleen, and tonsils.
