Lymphatic system

A network of vessels, tissues, and organs that transports lymph throughout the body, playing a role in fluid balance and immune surveillance. It includes lymph nodes, the spleen, thymus, and bone marrow, which filter lymph and blood, and produce immune cells. This system collects interstitial fluid, returning it to the bloodstream, and absorbs dietary fats.
