Tumor

An abnormal mass of tissue resulting from uncontrolled cell proliferation, which may be benign or malignant. This growth arises when cells divide more than they should or do not die when they should. Tumors are classified based on their cell type and origin, such as carcinomas, sarcomas, or lymphomas.
