Neoplasia

The uncontrolled and abnormal proliferation of cells, leading to the formation of a tumor or lesion. This process involves a series of genetic and epigenetic changes that disrupt normal cellular growth and differentiation. Neoplasia can be benign, remaining localized, or malignant, exhibiting invasive growth and metastasis.
