Carcinogenesis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001665

The complex, multi-stage process by which normal cells are transformed into cancer cells, involving initiation, promotion, and progression. This process is driven by genetic and epigenetic alterations that lead to uncontrolled cell growth, invasion, and metastasis.
