Malignancy

The state of being malignant, characterized by uncontrolled cell growth, invasion of surrounding tissues, and the potential to metastasize to distant sites. This condition is synonymous with cancer and represents a severe and life-threatening disease. Malignancy is often associated with genetic mutations that disrupt normal cell cycle regulation.
