non-Hodgkin lymphoma

A heterogeneous group of cancers originating from lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell. These lymphomas can arise in lymph nodes or other lymphoid tissues throughout the body and are classified based on the type of lymphocyte involved and their growth patterns. Unlike Hodgkin lymphoma, this category lacks the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells.
