Mass solubility
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006993
An obsolete name for the molality of a gas in its saturated solution, meaning the amount of dissolved gas divided by the mass of the solvent, at a specified temperature and gas pressure. It is therefore expressed in moles per kilogram of solvent, and it is not a mass of dissolved gas per mass of solvent, as the name might suggest.
