Dimensionless Henry’s law solubility constant

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003222

A ratio that expresses the solubility of a gas in a liquid, defined as the equilibrium concentration of the gas in the liquid phase divided by its concentration in the gas phase. This constant provides a measure of how readily a gas dissolves in a solvent without units. It is related to the conventional Henry's law constant by factors involving gas constant and temperature.
