Henry's law
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005208
A principle stating that the concentration of a gas dissolved in a liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas above the liquid. This relationship holds true for dilute solutions and at constant temperature. The proportionality constant, known as Henry's law constant, is specific to each gas-solvent pair and temperature.
