Aquamolality
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000756
A measure of solute concentration in a mixed solvent, equal to the molality of the solute multiplied by the average molar mass of the solvent mixture and divided by the molar mass of a chosen reference solvent, usually water. It appears mainly in comparisons of solubility in water, heavy water and their mixtures. For a pure reference solvent it reduces to ordinary molality.
