Unsaturated solution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012453
A solution that contains a concentration of solute lower than its solubility limit at a given temperature and pressure. In such a solution, more solute can still be dissolved without changing the physical state of the solvent. This contrasts with a saturated solution, which holds the maximum amount of solute.
