Flame atomic spectrometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004466
An analytical instrument that uses a flame to atomize a sample, allowing for the quantitative determination of elemental concentrations by measuring the absorption or emission of light by the free atoms. The sample is typically introduced into the flame as an aerosol. This technique is widely used for trace metal analysis.
