Premium coke

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009391

A high-quality petroleum coke characterized by low levels of impurities, particularly sulfur and metals, and a highly ordered anisotropic microstructure. It is produced under carefully controlled coking conditions to achieve specific physical and chemical properties. This material is primarily used in the production of graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces and as a raw material for specialty carbons.
