Delayed coke
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002962
A type of petroleum coke produced by the delayed coking process, characterized by its relatively high carbon content and low volatile matter. It typically has a porous structure and is used as a fuel or as a raw material for graphite electrodes. The properties of delayed coke depend on the crude oil feedstock and coking conditions.
