Regular coke

A petroleum coke of intermediate grade: it graphitizes well, shows optical anisotropy, expands moderately on heating and has a low ash content. Its quality falls short of premium coke, and it differs markedly from metallurgical coke. It is used mainly to make synthetic carbon and graphite materials.
