Premature ovarian failure

A condition characterized by the loss of normal ovarian function before the age of 40, resulting in irregular or absent menstrual periods and reduced fertility. This can be caused by genetic factors, autoimmune disorders, or exposure to certain toxins. It leads to symptoms similar to menopause, such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness.
