Qualitative analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009728
The identification of the chemical constituents present in a sample, without necessarily determining their exact amounts. This process focuses on detecting the presence or absence of specific elements, ions, or compounds. Techniques such as precipitation reactions, flame tests, or spectroscopic methods are often employed for this purpose.
