Risk associated with a lifetime exposure
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010374
The estimated probability of an adverse health effect occurring over an individual's entire lifespan due to continuous or repeated exposure to a specific chemical or agent. This calculation considers the duration and intensity of exposure, as well as the dose-response relationship of the substance. It is often expressed as a numerical probability, such as one in a million.
