Sacral agenesis

A congenital malformation characterized by the partial or complete absence of the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine. This condition can affect the development of the lower spinal cord and associated nerves, leading to neurological deficits in the lower limbs and bladder dysfunction. It is a rare birth defect, with an incidence of approximately 1 in 25,000 live births.
