Specificity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013584
A performance measure of a two-class classification model, such as a QSAR predictor of toxicity, giving the fraction of truly inactive or non-toxic compounds that the model correctly labels as negative. It equals true negatives divided by the sum of true negatives and false positives, so it ranges from 0 to 1. Sensitivity is the counterpart that scores the active or toxic class.
