Stock solution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011428
A concentrated solution of a chemical substance prepared for later dilution to a working concentration. This approach minimizes weighing errors and reduces the number of individual preparations needed for a series of experiments. Stock solutions are typically stored in volumetric flasks or other sealed containers to maintain their concentration over time.
