Subjective environment

The environment as it is perceived and experienced by an individual, encompassing personal feelings, social interactions, cultural context, and psychological state. It contrasts with the objective environment, which consists of measurable physical, chemical, and biological factors. An individual's perception of risk from a chemical exposure is a component of their subjective environment.
