Surface coverage

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011634

A measure of the fraction of available surface sites occupied by adsorbed species on a solid surface. It is often expressed as a dimensionless quantity, ranging from zero for an empty surface to one for a fully covered monolayer. This value can also be represented as a percentage.
