Flash desorption
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004471
A technique used to remove adsorbed species from a surface by rapidly heating the surface. The sudden increase in temperature causes the adsorbed molecules to desorb into the gas phase. This method is often employed in surface science to study adsorption kinetics and surface coverage.
