Vulva

The external female genital organs, comprising the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, and the vestibule of the vagina. These structures protect the internal reproductive tract from pathogens and are involved in sexual function and urination. In developmental and reproductive toxicology, the vulva is examined for morphological abnormalities or changes following exposure to potential toxicants during prenatal or postnatal periods.
