Genital tract

The continuous series of ducts and organs through which gametes travel and that support reproduction. In the male, it comprises the pathway for sperm from the testes to the exterior, including the epididymis and vas deferens. In the female, it includes the fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina, which provide the path for the ovum and sperm and house the developing fetus.
