Fallopian tube

A pair of muscular tubes extending from the uterus to the ovaries, serving as the pathway for ova to travel from the ovary to the uterus. Fertilization of the ovum by sperm typically occurs within the fallopian tube. Each tube is approximately 10 to 13 centimeters long and consists of an infundibulum, ampulla, isthmus, and interstitial part.
