Accessory sex organ

A reproductive structure that is not a gonad but is involved in the transport, maintenance, or nourishment of gametes. These organs contribute to the overall reproductive process by producing fluids or providing pathways for sperm or ova. Examples include the prostate gland and seminal vesicles in males, and the fallopian tubes and uterus in females.
